travail est sale !Il est entaché, comme les histoires que je manipule ; il est fait parfois très vite, comme on fait, en définitive, un « Sale Boulot ». Ce thème du « sale boulot » a nourri ma recherche artistique depuis près de 2 ans. Sorte de métaphore du monde contemporain, cette expression, par sa polysémie, offre une prise complexe sur l'actualité. C'est d'ailleurs l'actualité au quotidien qui engage le plus mon travail actuel. Attentif aux petits détails qui font l'histoire, mais aussi à la manière dont on nous conte celle-ci, ma création cherche à détricoter le fil par une proposition graphique décalée.Mon œuvre se veut représentative, pour ne pas oublier, mais aussi pour repenser autrement ce qui nous entoure sans toutefois verser dans la dénonciation. Ce travail ne se veut pas revendicatif, il cherche plutôt à dessiner le sillon d'une mémoire dissidente. De fait, ma recherche ne s'est pas concentrée sur une technique artistique au détriment d'une autre. Elle s'est bien plus dispersée, entre gravures, peintures, installations, « petites formes », performances et photographies.L'emploi de ces différentes techniques répond à la conviction qu'il ne peut y avoir de manière unilatérale d'appréhender le monde. La gravure est une manière de prendre de la distance face à l'actualité, parce qu'elle exige un temps de création plus calme, plus lent. Les « petites formes », entre sculptures et installations, sont de petits objets symboliques conçus en réaction directe à l'information. La photographie se veut le révélateur et le témoin inépuisables des scènes du quotidien les plus incroyables. Les performances sont une manière d'agir aux côtés des gens, d'accompagner leur quotidien par des mises en perspectives déroutantes. Enfin, les installations se veulent une mise en espace de la complexité du monde. L'artiste met ici en parallèle les photos souvenir de ces américains, fiers de montrer leur contribution héroïque au patriotisme national. En los EE.UU. , se acostumbra a comer en familia un cheesecake que representa la bandera Estados Unidos con motivo de la fiesta nacional . Chaque installation est l’occasion de prendre le temps de trouver les modalités de ré-agencement de nos héritages, traversés par les questions politiques,affectives,esthétiques et sociales.La formule est forgée lors d’une semaine en atelier, dans un système d’abri précaire construit à la mesure de nos exigences de recherche. Des lits- tables, qui peuvent se transformer, se ré-agencer et se moduler en fonction des expériences et réalisations en cours. Une table pour classer, des lits pour rêver, des supports de sculpture, des projections documentaires.Chaque installation/résidence est l’occasion de remettre en question les manières d’investir les histoires, les lieux ainsi que le public.
